Stephanie McGuirk holds a Master's of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology from the Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She recently received the title of Doctorate of Oriental Medicine. In 2005, Stephanie traveled to China to study the roots of Chinese Medicine.

Previously, Stephanie worked in the healing arts field as a massage therapist, Reiki practitioner and herbalist for 10 years. In 2001, Stephanie completed her teacher training course in Ivengar style yoga at High Desert Yoga in Albuquerque, N.M. She integrates this alignment oriented style of yoga into her prescriptions for those patients who need movement therapy.

Stephanie is nationally certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists.
